Studio DS design for the COVE redefines the traditional retail mall by creating more adaptive space in response to our rapidly changing retail environment. The floor plan is able to respond to multiple tenancies, whilst maintaining a rich botanical environment. The design illustrated demonstrates both pop-up and traditional unit set within a garden landscape with interactive features to enhance the customer experience.

The importance of creating places which respond to local communities and inspire inventive retail is essential to the make-up of the modern mall. Studio DS have developed these themes and continue to work with like-minded partners in developing a modern footprint for future retail. (Refer to research with UK Green Building Council, Retail Lab)
