Studio DS were invited by Dubai Police Department Innovations team to develop options for their new Innovations Hub at their main headquarters. The new workspace created an adaptable open plan for a variety of events, from formal lectures for VIPs to casual breakout space with a coffee bar and interactive walls.
All materials were locally sourced, representing the didactic and ethical qualities of the police force. Studio DS and Dubai Government’s intent to promote the importance of health and wellbeing, was reflected in the multi-layered approach to design and central features such as biodiversity.
